THE 4 DAYS ITINERARY TO MASAI MARA AND LAKE  NAKURU PARK

DAY 1: NAIROBI TO MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE-AFTERNOON GAME DRIVE

 0700hrs Meet and greet guests at the Nairobi hotel and proceed to Nairobi C.B.D for a central departure for the group joining safari. The journey will take approximately six hrs to Mara.
Depart from Nairobi by 0800hrs  to 0820hrs and drive along the Rift valley with a stopover at Great Rift Valley viewpoint for some photos and also have a chance to buy some souvenirs.
The guest will check-in at the hotel with lunch and proceed for the evening game drive.
During the game drive, you’re almost certain to spot animals especially lions, cheetah, and leopards, of which they prefer to hunt in the cool of dawn and dusk, and also the traveller can be able to enjoy keen photography of the wildlife species. Maasai Mara is one of East Africa’s top safari destinations renowned for its exceptional populations of lions, African leopards, cheetahs, and African bush elephants. Return to the hotel for dinner.
Dinner Time-0900hrs to 2100hrs

DAY 2: FULL DAY GAME DRIVE IN MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

Early morning breakfast from 0700hrs to 0800hrs. Later proceed to the park for the full day game drive Masai Mara
This day will be spent on viewing Kenya’s finest wildlife park in search of Africa’s Big Five, they include the African elephants, lions, leopards, Cape buffalos, and rhinoceros.
The expected animals in Mara are giraffes, baboons, warthogs, bat-eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, wildebeest, zebras, and hippos. It is also common to see lions either basking after a heavy meal. Cheetahs and leopards are harder to spot but reasonably common.
Due to the wide variety of habitats, more than 470 bird species both resident and migrant can be found in the Maasai Mara, the common Ostriches, secretary bird, gray crowned cranes, turaco, white-backed vulture, pelicans, herons, southern ground hornbill, hammer kops and storks, Packed lunch will be provided by the lodge. In the evening return to the hotel for dinner.
Dinner Time-0900hrs to 2100hrs

DAY 3. DEPART MAASAI MARA EN-ROUTE NAKURU

Early morning breakfast from 0700hrs to 0830hrs, Hotel check out by 0900hrs from 0930hrs to 1100hrs visit to Maasai village to experience the culture.

Maasai community forms one of the most active and lively activities that one should not miss while at Maasai Mara, from their dancing stanzas and cultural activities e.g. ornament making.

Later proceed to Lake Nakuru with a stop over at Mahi Mahiu for lunch. The Expected arrival time 1700hrs, have the evening tea, leisure time as you wait for dinner.
Dinner from 1900hrs to 2100hrs.

DAY 4. NAKURU TO NAIROBI

Early morning Breakfast from 0700hrs to 0800hrs Hotel check out as you proceed to the park for the game drive.

The lake is world-famous as the location of the greatest bird spectacle on earth. Drive across the Pink Lake, it's called pink lake due to its great masses of pink Flamingos. The park has white and black rhinos,
Other animals found in the park include lions, leopards, cheetahs, waterbuck, Rothschild’s giraffes, hyena, buffalo, baboons, vervet monkeys, and gazelles

The Park is known as a bird lover’s hub because of the numerous birds that make over 400 bird species including the flamingos that live on the lake and in the park’s savannah grasslands. The bird species include Egyptian geese, pelican, Fish Eagle, Slender-billed greenbul, Long-tailed widowbird, Rufous-throated wryneck, Montane white-eye, Red-capped lark, Northern puff back, Rüppell’s robin-chat, Shining Sunbird, and many more.

At lunch time, have a stop over at Mahi Mahiu for Lunch and proceed to Nairobi.
